| Description | The August 2009 Flood collection consists of 1228 born digital images and 14 born digital videos collected from members of the community to documenting one of the worst floods in Louisville's history. Many of the images are from the campus of the University of Louisville and the surrounding area, although the Beechmont, Chickasaw, and Phoenix Hill neighborhoods are also represented. This collection also includes a small number of pictures of the ice storm of January 2009 and the wind storm of September 2008. |
