Description The digital presentation, I've Been Working in the Kitchen, was adapted from the slides and script created in the late 1980's for the Virginia Cooperative Extension. It was to be used to spark interest in teaching preschool children basic kitchen skills. The 90+ images portray preschoolers learning by doing and building on their basic skill set. The Food Curriculum, co-authored by Marilyn Blossom, was adapted from the slides and script created for the Missouri Cooperative Extension. It was intended to show how to teach preschool children basic kitchen skills. The >130 images portray preschoolers learning by doing and introducing where foods come from, food preparation skills, and different food nutritional values. This presentation also illustrates how children learn to use math, social, classification, and motor skills during the process of preparing food. These are part of the Ann Hertzler Collection, MS2001-004.

The manifest page must be located at /lockss/manifest.html of the base directory.  Useful for small, static collections with no defined structure that would lend them to be divided into AU&apos;s.  Please test this plugin with your collection before deploying, and if it is not functioning properly, write a new plugin.  Any changes to this plugin itself should be carefully considered and tested before deployment as it effects multiple collections.</string>
