| Description | The Purdue University Research Repository (PURR) is the institutional data repository for Purdue University researchers, graduate students, and their collaborators. Built on HUBzero software platform, PURR allows researchers to collaborate in an online working space and publish their final product to the larger community. PURR packages the datasets according to the Library of Congress BagIt specifications (using BagitPHP) and provides robust metadata (METS, MODS, PREMIS Dublin Core) to aid in discoverability, preservation, and management. The packaged files are known as the AIP or AU. The AIP/AU name is the datasets assigned DOI with a double underscore substituted for the DOI's "/" For example: doi:10.2072/FK299985 would become 10.2072__FK299985. |
